//New Music: Mario Featuring Rihanna – Emergency Room//

R&B heartthrob Mario is hard at work on the follow-up to his last album, 2007’s Go. The album spawned a couple R&B radio hits like “How Do I Breathe†and “Music For Love,†but the singer is ready to move on to biggest and better things. The Baltimore native has a new song floating around the internet featuring pop/R&B’s hottest hitmaker Rihanna. On the mid-tempo track, entitled “Emergency Room,†the two go back and forth about a volatile relationship where Mario is sick of the accusations of cheating and Rih, fed up with the lies, sings “Let me see you try to live without me/Now where’s your heartbeat?/Flat line on the EKG.â€
Mario’s new album is expected later this year. He’s said to be working with  Tricky Stewart and The-Dream who helmed Rihanna’s “Umbrella“ along with Beyonce’s â€Single Ladies,â€Â and RedOne who is responsible for Lady GaGa’s breakout hit “Just Dance.â€

UPDATE: Mario has released the following statement to Concrete Loop about the song’s leak:
“This was a rough cut that I was working on and wanted to present it to Rihanna and her record label. Those aren’t Rihanna’s vocals on the song at all. The record was far from done. I’m still proud of the record but want to make sure that the truth is out there.â€
Is it possible Mario could be running damage control because of the extremely sensitive nature of the song’s content and Rihanna’s current situation? Or did he find one hell of a sound-alike to do the demo? Judge for yourself!
