Colby O’Donis was a Grammy nominee this year for appearing on Lady GaGa‘s smash debut single “Just Dance,” but most people still haven’t caught on to the 19-year-old singer/songwriter’s music. He’s hoping to change that with the release of his new single, “Let You Go.” The song is taken from O’Donis’s debut album, Colby O, released on Akon‘s Konvict/Streamline Records. The song totally has that early 2000s Jesse McCartney summer love song sound…and I digs it! Colby O is in stores now. Check it!

Since, you’ve mentioned Colby having a sound of a, “early 2000′s Jesse”…In comparsion of the two styles;
Colby O’Donis’ music gives off a kind of catchy, “sprinkly teenie bop” sound, simliar to one that you might hear at some “PIZZA CHICA slumber party,
Where as Jesse McCartney’s music, gives off a MORE edgy/groovy/ jumpy sound, one you might hear at a high school senior prom…
Jesse has a certain “niche” that it appears in Colby’s song, he’s still trying to discover, if that makes sense…. :)
I think David A just stands in a catergory of his own…he’s a sweetHEART!
I digs it as well
