Admittedly, I’ve had a very love/hate relationship with one of American Idol’s newest top 12 contestants, Adam Lambert. When Simon didn’t like him, I loved him. I thought his voice was so unique. But when the judges started hyping him up like he was the best thing since Home Improvement re-runs on Nick at Nite (and they are totally the best thing ever! Jonathan Taylor Thomas is one sexy beast!), I started to run the other way.
Last week his performance of the Rolling Stone’s “Satisfaction” was clear proof of his ability to split a crowd. You’d either love or hate his over-dramatic, at times, shrieky vocals. Most of America loved it, so we’ll be seeing more from him.
My “Ugh” factor got higher but I was desperate to rekindle my love for Adam. I stumbled upon the above video of a pre-Idol Adam performing Gnarls Barkley‘s “Crazy” at the 2008 Art 4 Life Benefit at Blog For Your Life and, let’s just say, I’m in love with Adam like T-Pain is in love with strippers.
His vocal range is insane, as he’s proven on Idol, but his ability to work a crowd and perform any song and make it his own is nothing short of spectacular. And HELLO!!! Do you see the dance moves? So. In. Love!
Check it!

HELL yeah..JTT 4 life!!!!
I don’t know but I don’t like it. I’m so sorry maybe I’m too conservative for this.
it is entertainment baby
it does’nt matter if he dances like a gay everybody knows that and nothing can overshadow his great singing prowess, charisma and stage presence no one of the idols has. just love watching all his performances again and again…..
