Kanye West once deemed himself the greatest human being alive, but now Ye is ‘Beyond Human’ for the April/May cover of Complex magazine. The rapper/designer gets hi-tech for the cover shoot shot and computer generated by photographer Chris Milk.
In the issue, Kanye tell Complex reporter Noah Callahan-Bever about the issues he goes through being so great like how the recession has affected even him and the nagging speculation about his sexual orientation.
On how the recession has affected him:
Best Buy was supposed to [shoot and produce] the tour DVD and they pulled out of it. I definitely got hit with that, because not shooting it was not an option, so I had to pay for it.
On why people are so focused on his sexuality:

And it’s true there are a lot of gay people who are incredible creative minds, but there are straight people who are incredible creative minds—and there’s gay people who can’t dress or create at all, too. Closed-minded gay people probably say they dress “straight.â€
