Miley Cyrus’s Hannah Montana: The Movie may not be hitting the big screen until next week, but Miles is already thinking ahead. The 16-year-old singer/actress wants to keep Hannah alive, but only on the small screen.

The show is currently in its third season, but Miley wouldn’t rule out a fourth. “I don’t know if I would do another (Hannah Montana) film, but I would love to do another season,” Miley said in an interview with the Associated Press Monday. ”That would be what we would all agree on.”

The movie, which finds Hannah Montana returning to her home-state of Tennessee after letting the fame of her pop star life go to her head, hits movie screens nationwide April 10.

This movie may be Hannah’s only trip to the big screen but Cyrus is already working on more movie projects.

She will team up with the writer of the 2004 film The Notebook, Nicholas Sparks, for a movie called The Last Song. Filming is set to begin this summer.

Miley wouldn’t reveal what the movie is about but says the character she’ll play will allow her to see if she’s really a good actress or just good at playing herself.

“I’ve always been lucky to play parts that relate to me, and this doesn’t at all. I have my issues, but not as bad as this chick. So I’m happy to play someone that’s just kind of out there and not someone that I’m like.”
