So remember back one year ago today when you were freaking out, checking your computer obsessively for updates on the supposed wedding for Beyonce and Jay-Z. Then remember when it finally hit you; the day your little stan heart had been waiting for was finally happening. It made total sense. Beyonce was born on September 4, Jay on December 4, their first date was on July 4… 4-4-08! OMG!!!! Beyonce and Jay got married!!!!
OK. So maybe you weren’t freaking out like that and we’re just projecting. But admit it, you were excited. Hip-hop’s royal couple made things official and restored the hope that industry love was possible.
