//Rihanna Visits A Sick Fan In New York//

While the world focuses on the endless drama surrounding Rihanna’s personal life, the pop star is focusing on trying to save an extremely ill fan’s life.

Rihanna became involved with helping Jasmina Anema, a six-year-old girl battling a very rare and agressive form of leukemia, find a life-saving bone marrow donor in early February, putting out a plea for fans to get registered to donate on People.com only a day before the Feb. 8 fight with boyfriend Chris Brown that would overshadow her efforts.

The 21-year-old singer was back on the mission to not only raise awareness of Jasmina’s fight, but to also bring some much needed joy into the little girl’s life.

Rihanna paid a surprise visit to NYU Medical Center where Jasmina is receiving long-term care to have some girly fun with one of her biggest fans. The two spent three hours singing, dancing, and chatting. Rihanna even did a Cover Girl makeup makeover for Jasmina and painted her nails.

“It was like they had known each other forever,” Jasmina’s mom told People.com. ”Rihanna is a beautiful girl.”

Last year Rihanna used her star power to successfully help New York mother Lisa Gershowitz Flynn find a donor match and she’s hoping to do the same for Jasmina.

“It breaks my heart to see her go through this difficult sickness,” People quotes Rihanna as saying. “Jasmina still hasn’t found a match and she is just one of 6,000 people suffering from leukemia or other blood cancers who search the registry every day for a life-saving match. We can take action and sign up to be bone marrow donors. We can save the life of Jasmina and others like her.”

  1. Lyn says:

Rihana was not at the hospital to visit anybody. She went there just to complain. I’m serious she was going in total strangers’ rooms to gripe about her own problems. Leukemia girl was just too tired to call security.

After Rihana got tired of talking about herself she left. That Rihana is one self-centered hoodrat.

  2. Yasmen says:

Lyn: Are you a pyscho Chris Brown fan or something? I noticed his fans seem so unstable that they cannot even recognize a good deed being done. You all are a sick in the head.

Rihanna stayed with this girl for over three hours according to the girl’s mother. I think her mother is a better source than your sorry self. Seek help.

I’d like to read more stories like this one about Rihanna. Good job!

  3. STAYC says:

    So who’s story is true?

  4. What?? says:

Stayc, are you kidding?! Of course Lyn’s story isn’t true! It amazes me how gullible some people are.

  5. Brianna says:

lyn, you are a hater and a liar. rihanna did a great thing and deserves nothing but praise for it. you are so envious and stupid you can’t see past your rage to give her due respect. go find a new hobby.

  6. scpyt2010 says:

Its good to see the little girl in high spirits! I read about her situation and its terrible to hear something like that. Also its great that people like Rihanna cares so deeply about this girl and her situation and its good to see rihanna happy again!

PS LYN is a lame and hater and needs to get off chris browns dick and get a life!!!
