Singer Katy Perry stepped out last night to attend Paper Magazine’s The Beautiful People party in New York. The Pop star also hit the stage to perform songs from her debut album One of the Boys including a smashing performance of her next single Waking Up In Vegas.

In related news, Katy recently sat down with MTV to talk about her sophomore album saying its sound will be slightly different than her debut:

[Boys] was like my ‘Dear Diary’ album, from when I was like 17 to 23. … It was my perspective then, and it was so widespread, and some of the things that really meant a lot to me at 17, you know, they change. They evolve…So this record will be a very present record for me. It will be me now. It won’t take five years — hopefully. It will be Katy Perry as a young, 25-year-old woman.
