//Miley Cyrus Earns Second No. 1 Movie As Hannah Montana Movie Tops Easter Weekend Box Office//

After the disappointing opening weekend for fellow Disney stars the Jonas Brothers‘ 3D concert movie, fans and critics wondered if Miley Cyrus‘ on-screen alter-ego Hannah Montana would face the same fate when she made her way to the big screen. The answer was a resounding no.

Hannah Montana: The Movie brought in an estimated $34 million to top the Easter weekend box office, beating last weekend’s champ Fast & Furious 4 which drops to No. 2.

Hannah’s success earns Miley Cyrus her second No. 1 movie. In February of 2008, The Hannah Montana & Meet Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds 3D Concert Movie opened at No. 1 taking in $31.12 million.

Miley recently revealed to the Associated Press that this will more than likely be Hannah Montana’s only big screen movie. “I don’t know if I would do another (Hannah Montana) film, but I would love to do another season.” The Disney Channel original series is currently in its third season.
