Marié Digby is best known for her unplugged YouTube videos. Most notably, her acoustic rendition of Pop superstar Rihanna‘s smash hit Umbrella. The 25-year-old beauty released her debut album, Unfold, last year and now she’s ready to follow the project up with her sophomore release Breathing Underwater.
The titled track will be released as the package’s first single. Fans of Marié’s more Pop/Folk sound will be surprised to see her new material has taken a more R&B turn. Although Marié was dealt a bad hand when her sophomore set leaked in its entirety last week, with the right promotion, this single could definitely give the album its much needed buzz.
Breathing Underwater is due in stores this June.
