Singer/actor Billy Ray Cyrus is jumping to the defense of his superstar daughter Miley Cyrus after she became the subject of a not so kind rant from Oscar winning actor Jamie Foxx.

“Get like Britney Spears and do some heroin. Do like Lindsay Lohan and start seeing a lesbian and get some crack in your pipe. Catch chlamydia on a bicycle seat,” Foxx spewed during his popular Sirius satellite radio show The Foxxhole.

Jamie later apologized on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and brushed the tirade off as an innocent joke but Billy Ray wasn’t buying it. During an appearance on the Bonnie Hunt show, Cyrus briefly addressed the matter saying it was “hurtful and there was nothing funny about it.”
