Even back when Fantasia and Jennifer Hudson were both on season 3 of American Idol as contestants, many prayed for the day they’d team up for a duet. Well, they did. The two got together for a track on Jennifer’s debut album, “I’m His Only Woman.” The song is Brandy and Monica’s “The Boy Is Mine” to the 10x power. Loves!
So, we got the duet on wax–awesome! But the next question: will they ever perform it live? Please, oh, please say yes, you hawt duet Gods. Last night, the Gods said YES!
Fantasia met up with her diva darling during Jennifer’s tour stop with Robin Thicke in Atlanta, GA to perform the song for the sold out crowd, and it was better than we could have ever imagined. Jen broke off some of that Effie White sass on Fannie’s ass! And Tasia unleashed the holy ghost on Jen.

It’s good to see Jennifer Hudson having so much fun. I watched her sold out show in Chicago and she got her four cousins to get up on the stage and first sing “Hey Jude” that was spectacular and had everyone on their feet. Then she made them sing another song and they chose a church song that turned into a revival. She was in incredible voice that never broke once and hit every note with ease. It’s been a long time since I enjoyed a show that much. Maybe she could put it on HBO?
