//Madonna Suffers Minor Injuries In Horseback Riding Accident//

Music and fashion icon Madonna is blaming a weekend horseback riding fall on those pesky paparazzi.

The 50-year-old was in the Hamptons at the time of the accident. “The accident occurred when the horse Madonna was riding was startled by paparazzi who jumped out of the bushes to photograph the singer, who was visiting friends,” the singers spokesperson Liz Rosenberg said.

Madonna was taken to a Southhampton hospital suffering minor injuries and was later released. She is currently being monitored by doctors while she recovers according to her spokesperson.

In 2005, Madonna was involed in a much more serious horseback riding fall while at home in England. In that accident, she suffered several broken bones including multiple ribs.
