Rihanna is not teaming up with Lady GaGa to diss Chris Brown or any other ‘silly boys.’
The internet has been swarming over a song called “Silly Boy” which was posted by Kanye West (or his ghost blogger) to the rapper’s blog claiming to be a duet between the two chart-topping female pop stars. Mainstream media caught wind of the track and its not so lovey dovey lyrics (“You had a good girl…but you didn’t know how to treat her”) and immediately began running with the story that the song had to be written as a girl power kiss-off for Rihanna’s on-again, off-again flame.
But anyone hoping to hear Rih lash out through song at the man who allegedly assaulted her in February will have to keep hoping. The song – which surfaced on the internet months ago — is just a demo that may or may not have been written for GaGa and Rihanna, and doesn’t even feature their voices on it.
Kanye confirmed this with a short follow-up blog post: “Attention: Lady GaGa asked me to tell y’all that it’s not her on the “Silly Boy” song.”
But don’t count out a real collaboration for the pop divas. Rihanna is currently in the studio working on the follow-up to her worldwide smash album, Good Girl Gone Bad, so anything can happen.
Thanks for updating the people Neon becaue this rumor is still blazing the net. I hoped that RiRi wouldn’t stump that low and make a song about her relationship. The media is trying really hard to get something out these two. Keep your heads up.
I knew this rumor wasn’t true, B/c Rihanna is still with that punkass Chris Brown, and she ain’t going nowhere. He has her on lockdown for good. She’ll never be able to escape Chris Brown. She’s too weak!
