The much hyped premiere episode of Fox’s new musical comedy Glee premiered tonight after the American Idol performance finale and O. M. Glee! It was just as epic as the commercials made it look! It was everything Spectacular! wanted to be but smarter (and with better acting. Doh!). Completely loved Terri Schuester (played by Jessalyn Gilsig), the lazy, lying wife of the genuine glee club teacher Will Schuester (played by Matthew Morrison). Kind-hearted jock with the voice of gold Finn Hudson (played by Corey Monteith) was beyond lovable, but who will emerge as the show’s big star is the undoubtedly talented former Broadway actress Lea Michele who plays the much-too-adorable-to-be-an-outcast Rachel Berry.
More amazing than the cast itself were the cover songs. The best shown tonight was the ending number, a calorie filled version of Journey‘s classic “Don’t Stop Believin’.” Maybe it was the message of the song expertly placed in the middle of a make-or-break situation for the club, but there were almost tears while watching it.

Lea Michelle realllllllly annoys me. Can’t wait for a certain guest star to appear on one of the next eps…especially when they belt out a few songs.

hahaha! i was waiting for that. Lea has always annoyed me..it’s just little things she says in interviews.
Love the show so far though..some great lines.
