//David Cook Performs On American Idol’s Grand Finale//

The American Idol season finale just took place and the show was filled with music from Idol contestants past and present. One of the first performances of the night came courtesy of last year’s winner, David Cook.

David gave a touching performance of the song Permanent and spoke briefly with host Ryan Seacrest about the song and pushing through the death of his brother Adam. The performance will be made available on iTunes with all proceeds going to ABC Squared to help find a cure for Cancer.

    As usual, David Cook was the highlight of the whole night. Yes, a rocker can reach those high notes and not wail and still go higher. He puts emotion and feeling every single time he sings a song. What a moving experience. Darn, I wish I could have voted for David Cook again and extend him as Season 8 American Idol. He only gets better and better. The band was fantastic – so powerful.

    yeah..i wish i could vote for him again too..the finale of season 8 is complete failure..they extend it to 2 hour but all i got is “LAME” performance,especially by the top13..they just sound so bad,and they let Gokey sing Hello?WTF???..all i can say is that,none of the performance that night(except DC)can top last season finale..NONE!!last season still the best season ever!

    David Cook is an amazing singer. He gave such a beautiful and moving performance of his song Permanent. You can buy the Charity Single at Itunes.     Anybody that knows anything about music has to be moved by David Cook! If you don’t care for rock the heart and passion he puts forth is only met by a handful of performers in the world! Keep up the steller work!!!

    i cant stop wanting to see and hear David Cook all the time. His performance of permanent on season 8 finale was beyond words can describe, its awfully awesome.
