Apologies, gossip hounds. Rihanna isn’t publically moving on from Chris Brown just yet.

After it was reported by the New York Post’s Page Six that Rihanna was spotted locking lips with Canadian actor/rapper Aubrey “Drake” Graham while sharing a night out with friends at Lucky Strike bowling alley in New York City this week, gossip columns began spreading the word about the “new couple” faster than the swine flu.

A source even “confirmed” the story for People.com. “The two of them were stealing kisses here and there the whole night,” the source was quoted as saying.

But Drake has come out to deny the reports. He spoke to NY radio station Hot97’s Peter Rosenberg and Cipha Sounds show to clear the air.

“[She's] just a friend. A great artist,” he told the DJs before being grilled for more.

He confirmed he was in fact in NYC and “might have been” at Lucky Strike, but he never had a hot make out session with the singer he says he has “the utmost respect” for and describes as “so talented.”

“I’m honored that they would think of me to start this rumor and use my name, but it’s not true.”
