Country-crossover cutie Taylor Swift sparkled not just figuratively but literally as she performed for a crowd of fans on the Today Show summer concert series Friday (May 29) in New York City. Her glittery dress and guitar made certain the 19-year-old would shine bright like the star she is.

She performed songs from both of her multi-platinum albums, kicking things off with “Love Story” from her latest, Fearless. She continued the party with her new single “You Belong With Me” and capped it off with “Our Song” and “Teardrops On My Guitar” from her smash debut.

In her interview, the clean-cut singer talked about her version of rebellion. “For me rebelling really doesn’t come from going out and getting wasted. It comes from writing completely honest songs with people’s names in them.” And what if these people are upset that they’re being name-dropped in a Taylor Swift song? “Usually the people that I name in songs we’re not on speaking terms anymore,” she said with a laugh.
