Remember when someone just wouldn’t let the video for Kanye West‘s synthy masterpiece ”Flashing Lights” be great? We ended up with three different videos for the song floating around the internet. But at least in that case Ye got to premiere the real version before anyone had ever seen the two that followed. His video for “Paranoid” from his latest album, 808s & Heartbreak, wasn’t as lucky.
Maybe it’s the fact that the video stars the ridiculously fierce Rihanna and we’re all super desperate to see Rih return to music videos in all of her glory, but the video just kept leaking before Yeezy was done with it. He’s finally done, and, you guessed it, the final cut of the video has leaked.
This version of the vid, directed by Nabil Elderkin, is all back and white and takes us into Rihanna’s slightly demented dreams where she’s driving a pint-sized car and Kanye has wolf-like tendencies. Sounds silly, but it’s pretty awesome. Check it!
