Amerie is officially back people! The R&B singer best known for her smash hit 1 Thing will make her Def Jam records debut with her new album In Love And War. The set is due to be released in August.

Amerie debuted the video for the first single off the album Why R U earlier this week. Besides looking absolutely gorgeous in the video, there isn’t much else going on in the Ray Kay directed clip.

Are we glad to see Amerie get another shot at US success? Definitely! But maybe not with this single.
