Vampire flick Twilight may have scored the most 2009 Teen Choice Award nominations but our favorite musical and artists didn’t do so bad themselves.
High School Musical, the franchise that churned out singers like Ashley Tisdale, Corbin Bleu and Vanessa Hudgens, racked up 10 nominations for it’s 3rd installment HSM3: Senior Year.
Also in the 10 nominations club is Disney superstar Miley Cyrus, who tweeted about the big news on Twitter. “Omg I got nominated for 10 teen choice awards!!! Ahhh thank u so much. I love u guys.”
Show hosts Jonas Brothers enjoy nine nods while Dance/Pop rising star Lady GaGa sits pretty with seven.
Kids can vote for their favorite picks on the Teen Choice Awards website. The big show is set to air August 10th.
