Mariah Carey is going after that 19th No. 1 single hard with the release of the first single from her upcoming album Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel called “Obsessed.” The summer banger was written and produced by Tricky Stewart and The-Dream and finds Mariah in slightly new territory. She dabbles in the use of a little auto-tune, but it honestly doesn’t overtake the song. The remix for the song about a delusional dude obsessing over MiMi’s hotness is graced by rapper Gucci Mane. Not a Carey classic by any stretch of the imagination, but it’ll serve as a good teaser. Check them both below:
