Chris Brown‘s name has stayed hot in the press for the last few months, but not because of his day job. Everybody is fully aware of the troubles the 20-year-old hit-maker faces, so it’s about time to switch some of the focus back to what the kid does best: music.
A couple months ago a snippet of a demo song called “Smash” hit the internet and now an even longer, almost full version of the song has surfaced. Though it isn’t quite done (the second verse has a lyric-less hole in it), the song is just far enough along to make CB fans crazy with anticipation for his third album, Graffiti, scheduled for release at the end of the year.
The song is all about its hard hitting beat, CB’s skillful use of auto-tune, and its straight-forward lyrics (“You don’t want no picture, baby, or no autograph/I know what you want/You wanna hit it, hit it, hit it. Smash”).
