A stunning Alicia Keys was among one of the award recipients at last night’s 2009 ASCAP Rhythm and Soul Music Awards held in Beverly Hills, California. Even though she had a lot to celebrate, her mind wasn’t too far away from the sudden loss of music’s greatest, Michael Jackson.
“I did meet him one time, and it was amazing,” Alicia told People Magazine before the show. “It was just beautiful to meet him. I’m glad I got the chance.”
Other music stars in attendance were Christina Milian, her Song Writer of the Year award-winning fiance The-Dream, singer/songwriter Ne-Yo and more.

Pussycat Dolls singer Melody Thornton showed up rocking a single glove in honor of the King of Pop while R&B singer Steph Jones displayed his fandom with his Michael Jackson doll.

Listen Nights his gone but that’s da way life goes, i understand he was a big influence in many ppls life’s but we all need 2 understand that every 1 goes wen its their time, no 1 is invincible no matter how famous or legendary they r. He may b gone but his legacy will always live on.
