If there’s one thing you need to know about Barbados-born beauty Shontelle (besides the fact that she’s a fab singer and songwriter) it’s she’s all about unity. She’s constantly using her voice to motivate her fans whether it’s positive messages on her Facebook page, her Twitter updates, or her outstanding music.
One of her most uplifting songs from her debut album, Shontelligence, by far is “Battle Cry.” The song’s message struck such a powerful, positive chord that it was used on President Barack Obama’s campaign compilation CD “Yes We Can: Voices of Grass Roots Movement.”
With an all new video directed by Jessy Terrero, “Battle Cry” is the official second single from the album in the UK. The video was shot in Los Angeles last March and brings together every element of Shontelle: music, friendship, and fierceness. Check it!
