//Mariah Carey And Trey Lorenz Perform “I’ll Be There” At Michael Jackson’s Memorial//

Mariah Carey had the tough job of kicking off the performances at Michael Jackson’s public memorial at the Staples Center today in Los Angeles. She performed the Jackson 5 classic “I’ll Be There” that she covered for her 1992 appearance on MTV’s Unplugged with her incredibly talented background singer Trey Lorenz. Mariah struggled a bit through the beginning — I’ll blame emotions. Many willing to criticize probably wouldn’t be able to utter one word in the same situation. All in all, a good job.

One day Mariah Carey and I will meet each other on purpose. I am a slave for Mariah Carey. I am a 42 year old man.

It saddens me that she feels the need to apologise for being sad and not giving a polished performance.
