Michael Jackson‘s solid gold casket was brought into the Staples Center for the public memorial for the star by his brothers Jermaine, Randy, Jackie, Marlon, and Tito on July 7. It’s an image no MJ fan ever wanted to see, but the sight of it all made reality set in: the King of Pop is gone — but never forgotten.
The two hour ceremony to remember the greatest entertainer to ever live was attended by thousands of fans and friends, but also by the Jackson family.
Michael’s kids (from l-r Paris Katherine, Prince Michael II, Prince Michael) sat with their grandparents Katherine and Joe Jackson
The brothers sat front row center, each wearing a sparkling glove as a tribute to Michael
The sisters, Janet, LaToya, and Rebbie, were snapped making their way through the backstage area
