Michael Jackson‘s “Gone Too Soon” has been one of the hardest songs to listen to for fans since learning of the icon’s untimely death, so imagine how hard it must have been for Usher to perform it at Michael’s memorial service.
From the very start, the performance was tough for Usher. “We love you, Michael. You meant so much to us, especially me,” Usher said as he tried to compose himself. He then launched into an incredibly heartfelt rendition of the song, even stepping off stage to sing while touching Michael’s casket. “Born to amuse, to inspire, to delight,” he crooned. “Here one day. Gone one night.” He broke down at the end just before belting the final line.

What an incredibly moving moment. Today was a day of healing, but incredible pain. It was hard to watch without crying. This is just the start of what will become a series of tribute concerts for Michael Jackson. I don’t believe the world as myself is ready to say goodbye to MIchael just yet. We love you Michael.
P.s: your life relates to mine as i too am suffering from a dibilitating skin disease in reverse. I wish i could have told you how much your life meant to me and how your music spoke to me. You will soon find out though as others like myself will speak about you for the rest of your lives.
this reminds me of a very old statement that he does not die, he is not alive. we love you MJ.
tears that’s it!
don’t touch the damn casket.
no webby you could tell how much respect and love he had, even the family circled him in a hug, he was just acting from his heart and it was beautiful
