Singer/songwriter Gavin DeGraw is typically known as a lover, not a fighter. But some unlucky lushes saw the other side of Gavin during an unfortunate bar fight in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
In town with band Collective Soul for a date on their joint tour, Gavin found himself in the middle of what he describes as a “20 man bar brawl” when a rowdy guest tried taking a cheap shot at one of the performers.
“They blind punched Dean from Collective Soul first. Then tried to tag me,” Gavin explained on his official Twitter page. After the musicians delivered a whopping that “is gonna hurt worse than their hangovers,” Gavin says, the brawl starters ultimate downfall was being “big and slow and too aggressive.” Ah, victory!
With no real punishment in place, the show went on as planned. The tour will continue on to Orlando, Florida tomorrow night (July 14th).
