Demi Lovato had a very busy Friday. Before her sold out show at the Nokia Theatre as part of her headlining tour with David Archuleta, she had the pleasure of performing on The Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien. She hit the stage and performed her new single Here We Go Again in support of her album of the same name that hits stores next week.
Demi had a total fangirl moment when she ran into actor Seth Green who was also a guest on the show. “Just did Conan with SETH GREEN!!!! I totally flipped and told him I love family guy and robot chicken!!!! Woo,” she tweeted after the show. Adorable!

Demi lovato is a great singer her voice is maturing so well, im so excited for the album i heard it it sounds amazing July 21rst im so getting the album. admittadly not her best performance but she singing 20 songs a night, plus sound checks.

mary you are delusional if you think demi can not sing. she is the headliner because her name sells more. you dont need to put her down because david is opening. yes, opening!!! no matter what you david fans want to believe he is opening for demi!! demi has a great voice and has fans of all ages. john mayer likes her too thats why he wrote on here we go again. dont be so mad. if david can survive the second album curse of american idol maybe he will headline a tour.
Mary get real! All the things you said about David A. I could top with what Demi has done. Demi has her own show, gold album, featured in a successful concert movie, had a top selling soundtrack with camp rock, she writes her own music! she wrote songs with JOHN MAYER, has performed and attended premeies for HER movies all around the globe and is HEADLINING her own tour. Like it or NOT! So who is really the star??? Demi will only get better after here we go again comes out!!
Oh and KATIA, David can act????????????? I saw his “acting” on ICARLY and vomitted my break fast.Demi can sing, act, write songs, and play tons of instuments. AND HEADLINE A SHOW! Get use to it
On the page with mary. Demi is super cute & can act but her voice has a looong way to go to be in the same caliber as David Archuleta. I saw their concert in LA @ the Nokia and he Delivered The Goods!!. Oh my. When he first opened, perhaps a few were unfamiliar with him (if thats possible-thought everyone tuned into AmIdol?!) But by the end of his set, Everyone was singing and dancing along. Mind you, he doesnt have the huge DisneyMachine pushing him and he is still gaining new fans with each performance. After he sang, there was a LOOOOONNNNGGGG intermission (Demi stuck in traffic. Ummm- it was a Friday night. In L.A…Did her people not consider that?) Anyhow-the concession stands were full of new David fans buying up his CDs !!!!
agree with mary – lovato may be many things – a great singer isn’t one of them… call a spade a spade. i see archuleta as more a co-headliner, and for my 2 cents, as much, or even more a draw than she on this tour. i have seen one show on this tour – boston.. was not a fan of either going in, and i was more impressed by the musicality and sheer vocal power archuleta brought to the stage… he is a genuine, authentic, organically talent vocalist, where demi’s set was more on style, and flashing lights, and loud music that obscured her vocals… and she lost her voice three songs in… there is really no comparison here… lovato is an actress trying to mimic being a singer a la disney, archuleta is the real deal, with the bona fides vocally to back it up… lovato wouldn’t have gotten thru the audition round on american idol, whereas archuleta, imo, really won.. dude is that good, and i plan to check out his music more closely.. demi’s… nah… seen and heard enough.
The truth hurts – this was a trainwreck performance… she def wasn’t at her best here…. the disney sex kitten act isn’t working, and i hope she takes more time to polish her act…
Ive never heard any of Demi’s songs before seeing her on The tonight show, That being said my first impression wasn’t a very good one, Cute girl tho.
