//Demi Lovato Talks Bullies And Protecting Her Sister On The View//

When you’ve been a working actress since the age of 6 like Demi Lovato, your success is sure to leave you with a gang of haters. Demi, who once suffered at the hands of bullies, spoke out about it on her appearance of The View.

“For awhile there, I had no idea why because people would say ‘Oh, they’re just jealous girls.’ You don’t like to hear that, you want to know a reason,” she said of her experience being bullied in the 7th grade. “So you just keep pinning it on yourself.”

She eventually realized it was just jealousy: “I remember looking back and asking the girls ‘Why are you doing this to me?’ and they didn’t have a reason.”

Now older and wiser, Demi wants to make sure her sister doesn’t go through the same thing. “She’s just at the age where she knows how to use a computer and that can be kind of detrimental to young girls when you’re growing up especially when you have haters on the internet saying mean things about you.”

“My best advice to her one day I just told her they mean nothing.”

Demi’s sophomore album Here We Go Again is in stores now.

OMG…..I totally understand what Demi is talking about….I get bullied also….and I am in the 8th grade….and I want to know why aswell……I mean is it because I’m not being as loud as them and I do my work…..I mean why??…..But I realized in 7th grade (because I was getting picked on every since the end of 5th grade because I gettign chubby) they are just jealous and now that I lost weight they just stare at me and talk about me and my Best Friend……but they mean nothing…..because they are going to end up being nothing but a hater and when I (or whoever) becomes famous (but for me I would love to become a famous actress) that they are going to ask themselves why were they picking on me (or anyone)…..so to all of the girls who are getting bullied just know that they are jealous and the reason is becuase they want to act and be you!!!….
