There are several reasons why we adore David Archuleta. He’s a former American Idol contestant and we are nuts for Idol! He’s always humble and gracious. It’s like the kid doesn’t know he’s awesome. And probably the biggest selling point: he’s talented beyond reason.
He’s done some pretty epic covers in the past and on a recent concert stop, he added to the list with a cover of Colbie Caillat’s sleeper hit single Bubbly. Perfect song choice for Archie, and his voice? Buttery good!

David’s strength is his talent. He doesn’t even know how talented he is. This walking jukebox is real and pure. So many artists try to stand out by stimulating sexuality and selling sex, but David directly reaches to your heart in the most sincere way. I am so glad that David represents the pure and true form of art that never dies.

David can sing anything. He is simply amazing. Not only does he have the talent to rank with the top vocalists in the music industry, he is one of the most sincere, humble, giving and honorable young men I have ever had the privilege to meet.
Pure incredible talent and natural charisma is what young David has. No frills, no fancy production, no choreography, etc. needed to showcase his amazing abilities as a singer/songwriter. Even in acapella, he is masterclass. I am beyond excited for his Christmas and sophomore CDs.

I was there in Pittsburgh last night when David sang Bubbly. He started off apologizing that it was just put together with his keyboardist Kendra; a bit of an experiment. Well, David, experiment more! He deconstructed it a bit…made it more intense, less bouncy but still soft and subtle. I really enjoyed it. The crowd went nuts and David looked surprised. We aren’t!!!
Only David Archuleta can throw something together on the fly .. and turn out brilliance like this.

Very smooth and soulful. I didn’t think he had this in him. I might have to go to one of his concerts!
Pastel -I was there, too. It was amazing wasn’t it!! This song was worth the price of admission alone, never mind the epic brilliance of the rest of the concert! To be honest, I hated this song before. Only David can work this kind of (hot!) soulful magic to make the song new and wonderful. He is one in a million (quadrillion?!).
People, buy a ticket to see David (you know you want to!). This song was even BETTER live! Go now!! (and vote for him on the Teen Choice Awards).

utterly spellbinding and sublime… the gorgeous tone in david’s vocals that is so captivating is on perfect display with this song… his take on this song is sweet, sublime, soulful and believable the emotional connection and intensity… said it once, will say it again – david is the best male pop singer, bar none, in the business today. what further proof does anyone need?

David has taken “bubbly” to a different level. He just feels the song more than the original. Go figure..he has that uncanny ability to own a song. Once he sings it..you don’t want to hear any other version than his.
