Fashion Notes: Miley Cyrus Breaks Out The Booty Shorts And…Stripper Pole(!?) For Teen Choice Awards Performance

The thing that sucks about having pictures precede an event, is you never can tell exactly what context some items are used in. Miley Cyus will no doubt have a bunch of heads turning and eyes looking sideways at the photos of her performance at the Teen Choice Awards.
Miley debuted her new single, “Party in the USA,” on the awards show whose winners are voted on solely by her peers. For her performance, she was joined by a whole lotta dancers with her legs covered in not a lotta shorts.
As she strutted around on stage showing off all that leg, she did a sassy dance on what could be mistaken as a stripper pole by the looks of some of the pics (turns out it’s an ice cream cart, but if you live in a big city, you’ve seen girls make the most innocent things scandalous).
It’s summer, bare leg is expected, but as soon as that pole came out (no matter what it’s attached to), the shorty shorts became a no-no.

look you have to evaluate the performance in terms of where she was. It was the teen choice awards, get real. There is no reason she should have been dressed like that with the pole. It’s bad enough with her shorts and boots, but that might have been forgiven if she hadn’t brought out the pole. That’s what really made the performance over the top. Remember TEEN CHOICE AWARDS. Though it is only an ice cream cart she is still dancing next to a pole and did a dip so I think they should have thought that through a bit more.
