Congratulations are in order for singer/actress Jennifer Hudson and her fiance, former reality TV star David Otunga, as the couple welcome their first child together.
Hudson gave birth late in the evening yesterday (August 10) to a baby boy the couple named David Daniel Otunga Jr., according to ShowBizz 411.
David Jr. weighed in at 7 pounds, 14 ounces.
The Oscar-winner and her beau chose not to know the baby’s gender, so in preparation for the birth, they brought blue and pink clothes just in case.
Hudson never publicly announced her pregnancy. It wasn’t until she was snapped on her way to her Chicago baby shower that fans got any confirmation that a baby was on board.
Jennifer’s last public performance was her stirring rendition of “Will You Be There” at Michael Jackson‘s public memorial on July 7.
She looked great pregnant at the funeral. I am happy for her, after all she has been through.
