New Music: Jaicko Featuring Snoop Dogg – Oh Yeah (Remix)

If you’re a record exec looking for some new talent, chances are you’re taking a plane ride over to sunny Barbados. The once little known island now has a reputation for churning out some pretty talented singers. It’s brought us Jive’s new r&b/pop artist Livvi Franc, uber talented singer/songwriter Shontelle and some ol’ chick named Rihanna.

But the talent in Barbados isn’t limited to just the ladies. The fellas won’t be left out for long if Capitol Records’ Jaicko has his way. The 17-year-old singer/songwriter will release his debut album Can I in December and to introduce himself to the world, he’s chosen the first single Oh Yeah.

Oh Yeah is simply put, oh so good. The cut is the perfect blend of pop and r&b. To give the song a little hip hop kick, rapper Snoop Dogg jumped on the track for its remix.

With the right team behind him, I’m seeing Chris Brown’s Run It sized success for this youngster. The single is definitely good enough. Check it!
