Jason Castro set the stage for what kind of artist he would be while appearing on the 7th season of American Idol. He’s all about keeping the music simple and heartfelt and chose the songs he’d perform to convey this. It was, after all, his performance of “Hallelujah” that won him the Idol judges’ praises and earned him third place.

Now that he’s signed to Atlantic Records and about to release his debut album, entitled “Let’s Just Fall In Love Again,” he’s making his own music that strives to be simple yet alluring. The set’s title-track is the perfect example. Elements like the happy acoustic guitar and whistling that filter throughout the song are perfect for making it an irresistible summer treat.

You need to think before you blog. It works like this: Jason 3rd runner up, syesha 2nd runner up, David A first runner up and David C the winner…. HELLO

Yes, and why begin a war as to who was better and who was not. We already had to deal with that with Taylor Hicks and Chris Daughtry in season 5. Are you going to say that Taylor is better because he won, when Chris and his band are the ones with the platinum album? Every artist is talented in their way. No reason to have to provoke a war. Jason is great and I hope he has success, as I do Syesha with her appearance in “Dreamgirls.”

I was at the show at the grove last night and the show was fantastic. Jason was truly amazing.

    And for mikeasha:

    It works like this:
    Jason was 3rd runner up
    Syesha was 2nd runner up
David A was 1rst runner up
    David C was the winner
Its confusing but they are accurate in their posting.

anyway WHOOP to Jason Castro, he is a great artist and will get even bigger and better.

We can never celebrate a successful American Idol singer without someone starting who’s better than who nonsense! Jason was great! He took himself out of the race toward the end of the show. Syesha was good to. Why must we pit these talented singers against eachother? Leave town, mikeasha, and take your spitefulness with you!

  4. babe says:

I love the song! It’s very catchy. I can’t stop singing it since I first heard it. “It Matters to Me” is even better. Can’t wait to hear the whole album!
