In a little over two week, Jay-Z will unleash his long-awaited album The Blueprint 3 exactly eight years after the original album in the trilogy was released.
The Blueprint 3 has already yielded two hits in the form of the buzz single “DOA (Death of Autotune)” and “Run This Town” featuring Rihanna and Kanye West (the latter currently sits pretty at No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart).
With so few weeks left until the album’s arrival, it was only a matter of time before more music leaked. And here we have it: “Off That” featuring Drake. The futuristic Timbaland-produced track is all about Jay and Drizzy being a cut above the rest of those suckers in the industry — too bad the song isn’t a cut above the rest of what we’ve already heard from The Blueprint 3. Even still, it’s hot enough to keep you looking forward to hearing the entire set.
