A few things you probably already know about 19-year-old singer Kristinia DeBarge: she hails from the famous DeBarge family (her last name totally didn’t give it away!), her debut single, “Goodbye,” was one of the hottest hits of the summer, she’s opening for Britney Spears on the summer leg of her Circus tour, and she can dance her little ass off.

A no-no! It’s very disrespectful.

4. Were you afraid to meet the infamous Wendy Williams?

Not at all. I was very excited and she was very sweet.

5. You fall on stage during a huge concert. How do you recover?

You get back up and act like it never happened.

6. What’s your favorite Britney Spears song to sing along to?

Toxic. I never get sick of that song!

7. What’s the most drastic thing you’ve done to your hair?

I dyed my hair at 9 years old even though my mom told me not to. I had highlights but my hair ended up turning green.

8. Who is your favorite famous family?

The Osbournes

9. What’s the one TV show you wish would give you a call saying they have a role for you?

Gossip Girl. I would definitely play the bad girl.

10. Who do you hope to run into at the upcoming MTV VMAs? Congrats on the nomination by the way!

11. We’ve all got them! What’s your most embarrassing home video?

I was 13 years old and I thought the camera was off so I just kept singing and singing not realizing the camera was still rolling.

12. If you could write a duet featuring you and touring partner Jordin Sparks, what would it be about?

That’s a good question. It would have to be something different for both of us. Definitely a song that would be relatable for young girls just like my album “Exposed.”
