At only 19-years-old, Taylor Swift has managed to accomplish more than many artists twice her age. Her irresistible blend of country and pop earned her a score of adoring fans and a place as this year’s biggest selling artist with her album, Fearless.
Her tour in support of the album played two sold-out nights at New York City’s famed Madison Square Garden where Swift proved dreams really do come true if you work hard enough — and write songs about mean boys that girls can relate to.
On her last night at MSG Thursday (August 27), Swift got emotional as her fans screamed their adulation for her and her music. She even got a surprise gift from one of her favorite artists. “Rihanna sent me roses. How amazing is she?!” she tweeted following the show that she described as the “Most. Amazing. Night. That’s what I’ll look back on when I’m old.”
