Live Shots: Beyonce ‘Answers The Call’ With Jay-Z At Madison Square Garden

Beyonce was among many of the special guests at Jay-Z’s historic sold out “Answer The Call” concert at Madison Square Garden last night. During a quick break in her husband’s set, the Mighty B popped up from under the stage to perform her hit, “Diva.”
It was a family affair, as Bey’s sister Solange and nephew Julez were in attendance. Her mom, Tina Knowles, was even snapped in the audience throwing up her ROC diamond.

lol that old lady know she wrong..
Umm dat old lady is Beyonce’s mom
Jay-Z is so overrated that it’s pathetic. He doesn’t have much social substance in his lyrics (nothing like Tupac or Biggie or even Nas). It pains me to constantly hear the “N” word used. It’s not even necessary. He’s still socially relevant due to his marriage and collaborations with “currently” hot stars. At some point, music has to be about more than just the beats (I must admit they’re generally always hot).
I think Tupac was the most educated and most socially conscious. You could tell from his lyrics that he read a lot. These rappers today rap about nonsense — money, power, women, drugs, luxury goods, etc. The fact that they get filthy rich from this crap makes me sick.
wow you really don’t listen to lyrics he is
i just hope im hearing
right
karma’s got me fearing like
Colleek are you praying for me
see i got demons in my past so i got daughters on the way
if the Prophecy’s correct than the child shall have to pay
for the sins of the father
so i barter my tommorrows against my yesterdays
in hopes that she’ll be O.K.
and when i’m no longer here
to shade her face from the glare
I’ll give her my share of Carol’s Daughter
and a new beach chair
if he takes it light got in a couple of trips
and your money is straight, he’s gon’ give you consignment
now in the game where only time could tell
survive the droubts i wish you well
survive the droubts i wish you well?
how sick am i, i wish you health
i wish you wheels
i wish you wealth
i wish you insight so you could see for your self
you could see the signs when the jackers is scheaming
and the cops is coming you could read their minds
you could see from behind you could re-define
the game as we know it one dream at a time i’m
american dreamin’
I’m so far ahead of my time, I’m bout to start another life
Look behind you, I’m bout to pass you twice
Back to the future
and gotta slow up for the present
I’m fast, niggaz can’t get past my past
How they propose to deal with my perfect present?
When I unwrap “The Gift & the Curse” in one session
Ain’t no livin person can test him
Only two restin in heaven can be mentioned in the same breath as him
Seven straight summers, critics might not admit it
But nobody in rap did it, quite like I did it
If you did it I done it before, you get I had it
Got mad at it and don’t want it no more
And that goes for everything from flippin that raw
Flippin whores, flippin vocal chords, don’t get it twisted
Get it right, did different, did it better, did it nice
Did the impossible then did it twice (get it right)
do your homework before you talk sh@t
