The MTV Video Music Awards are where shocking moments happen and tonight’s show was no exception.
19-year-old country cross-over darling Taylor Swift bagged the night’s first award for Best Female Video beating out artists like Lady GaGa and Beyonce, both of whom were nominated for the most awards with nine each.
As an emotional Swift accepted her very first award, Kanye West appeared of stage to protest her surprising win over veteran Beyonce.
“Yo, Taylor, I’m really happy for you and I’mma let you finish,” he said. “But Beyonce had one of the best videos of all time.” The camera then panned to a dismayed Beyonce as the crowd began to boo his outburst.
Swift found it hard to recover after West handed the mic back to her, walking off stage without finishing her speech.
Taylor won for her single, “You Belong With Me,” from her multi-platinum album, Fearless.
kayne west said was true but he ruined taylors moment which was very wrong. that wasnt rite. taylor had the nominee and it was her 1st award and her chance. if i was taylor i would have been pissed off too. but i love u taylor, u were the reason y i listen to country and my inspiration. u deserved that!!!!

All the talent in the world counts for nothing when you have no class and professionalism. Some day Kanye, some day, humble pie is going to catch up to you in triplicate. Your going to try to steal a bit of light from someone bigger than that slip of a girl Swift, they’ll see you coming, and there will be hurt. Or maybe your fan base will wane and the industry shy away from your toxic persona.
