I think the reason everybody is sighting Kanye’s outburst as racist is because of his previous rants stating things like mtv should “give a black man a chance!” because he didn’t get the award he wanted. So when he comes blundering onstage interrupting a blonde white country singer to complain that his black friend deserves the award… I don’t see that as such a leap that there might be a race issue motivation in his classless, drunken rant. He brought it up.

I wasn’t in Louisiana when Katrina happened, so I didn’t see firsthand what FEMA and the Bush administration did or did not do. The last Presidential election made me really sad – I’m a woman, and hearing comments like people would “rather see a black man in office than a woman” made me really question the intelligence and heart of all americans – both sexism and racism are alive and well in America – sexism seems to be stronger. I voted for Obama. I don’t understand why people don’t show respect for an obviously qualified and thoughtful president – racism, but also evidence of how petty and vile some republicans can be. Republican talk show hosts (Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity) have gone on record saying they hope Obama fails at everything – they’re admitting they don’t care if individual Americans suffer in the meantime when relief bills or insurance reforms don’t pass simply because they want their own party (republicans) to resume presidency next term. That senator (Joe Wilson, who served in the Army and is an attorney and career politician) should be released from office and barred from future politics as he can’t claim ignorance about what constitutes disrespect to the ultimate commander in chief. This incident was just an awards show for music videos. You’re right – Beyonce wins awards every year and probably is one of the best selling artists of all time – but was that particular music video so much better than Taylor Swift’s – enough to jump on stage and grab the mike from Taylor Swift and tell her Beyonce’s work was better? Nope. Was defending Beyonce necessary because she’d be crushed not to have another VMA award on top of her hundreds of Grammys? Nope. What what he did racism? Nope. Quit muddying the water. Kanye has a history of interrupting other artists at awards shows, he’s rude when he does it, and he should keep his opinions to interviews and his blog.

Kanye West was foul for stealing Taylor Swift moment, I know his mother is belly flipping in her rest because of what he did. Kanye should be banned from the VMAS and fined as well. Stop worrying about Taylor Swift and concentrate on not drinking out the Hennesy Bottle no more, because of all the money you do have you and your girl Amber Rose look really low budget.

Personally, I am so tired of all these artists and actors, but let us not stop there, politicians and just regular people thinking that they can do what ever it is they want to do and get away with it. And by all means, you and I and everyone on this blog know, yes, we will sit here and type how upsetting that was to us, and he should apologize. Not on blogs or myspace but IN PUBLIC. I do not care about this is how it is now. When you do something wrong, anyone can type sorry, it takes a real person to go up to that person and say I am sorry in public. But to carry on, he should never come back to an award show, and he should pay her for that absolutely, unbelievable scene he made! Because fact is, no matter how I’ve ever felt about someone not deserving to win something, I’ve never, ever said a thing to them and taken away their spotlight bc it just my opinion, and I was raised better than that. But do you actually think that anything is going to be done about this? NO!!!! Nothing, we will all express our opinions, and he might say sorry, and in a couple of weeks everyone will forget this, he will be back at the awards. Well, I am sorry, but it’s time that we as the people stop this crap. He proved to me and everyone else out their that he is not worthy to be in public. Therefore, he does not deserve to be back at the awards. If your going to act like an animal, stay at home in a cage where you belong. Children watch this and look up to these awful people they see on television, hardly speaking in English, using so much slang, I can hardly understand them, showing how ignorant they really are. And our children see this, then you have some yahoo get up on stage and disgrace another artist right on television and nothing is seen being done about this. Our poor generations to come. I fear for what the next generation is going to act like. As bad as it has become, I can not even let my kids watch television anymore. The respect you rappers talk of is a bunch of crap, help an elderly woman open the door. Or stop stealing and cursing in public. You have ruined generations to come of children, look at the pop stars Britney Spears, Lindsey Lohan, Paris Hilton, etc. They do not even know how to behave and act. The class young people used to have showed so much about someone’s character. Now when I look at all of you, I see absolutely nothing but pure trash. I see your trashy ways influencing young minds. And I am so tired of it. You, Kanya or whatever your name is, you are not the first to be so trashy and disrespectful, and you won’t be the last. So if you were feeling special in any way, like you were, or should I say, ” you be making yo statement,” you did along with everyone else in your generation. Congratulations to the fall of America because we can not even except awards now without showing our ignorance and how classless we have really ALL become. And do not think for one minute to those of you that read this, that anything will be done about his behavior. Because, the people that run these television shows and run the United States do absolutely nothing. All they see is dollar signs, of course what he did gets people in a stir and now everyone watches the show. Ratings go up and people get money. But, is it really worth what you have done to society. You show a kid shooting up a school on the news once, next thing you know it’s happening once a month all over the place. You show a mother killing her children on the news, next thing you know people killing there kids left and right. You show, a store, a bank getting rob, well, we all know what happens. Is it coincidence? I do not even care if it is. All I know is that you watch something and hear something a hundred times it becomes part of your lifestyle. A famous coach once told me,”I do not know anything about this sport, but I know if you have a child to throw a hundred times and bat a hundred times a day and run a hundred times around the track, something’s going to stick. So go ahead America, keep on watching these trashy artists, actors, politicians and citizens you see on the news. Nothing happens to them when they act so poorly and trashy, hey and they’re filthy rich. This is what you see, “all I have to do is act like that and I can achieve all of what Kanye and the rest of them have?” Personally, I am looking for more than that out of an artist and actor and politician, and you know what I have not seen a damn thing since, well I do not even know. I was not alive to tell you one, personally that I have seen. One that goes out of there way to do good bc they want to, not for a metal or more fame. Sometimes, I wonder if that is what Angelina Jolie is doing. But, I do believe she has one of the best characters out there now. But I could go on and on but does it really matter, is anything going to happen bc of this letter? And the answer is NO, nothing, not a thing. So sit back and watch the fall of America and civilization we once knew.
