New Music: Janet Jackson – Make Me

As if her incredibly moving and amazing tribute to her brother Michael Jackson at the MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday wasn’t enough, Janet Jackson followed with another treat to her fans in the form of a brand new song added to her official website.
The upbeat tune called “Make Me” puts Jackson exactly where we love to see her: on the dance floor. There’s no sense in trying to sit still when you listen to this song, you’re bound to at least tap your foot when you hear it. Additional bonus: Janet added the complete lyrics so you can sing along.
No word on if it will appear on her brand new album, which is slated for a Spring 2010 release.

I’m really tired of Janet lip-synching. I’m glad she did a tribute but I like Latoya’s song Home tribute better. Latoya’s vocals are much better and she is the only one with any personality in the family and she was the first there at the hospital, signed the death certificate, and planned the memorial, and has since promoted Michael’s charities. Janet went right back to work on Tyler Perry’s movie and back in the studio.
Are you serious?! Why are you comparing Latoya and Janet? There is no feud between the two (not that I’m aware of)…they are family. Were you there when Michael passed away? Of course not! You do not know what Janet has done to help the family.
It amazes me how people can be so negative. Why not support the whole family instead of trying to pit them against each other. And yes, Janet went back to work after Michael’s death because she has a job. What do you expect her to do, not work? She makes her money by working. Everybody grieves differently and I know that for some people, work allows them to escape and not have to deal with the painful loss.
We need to stop the negativity. Michael was all about love.

At least Janet used her talent to show love for her brother..Latoya used his pain for proffit..and his death for one more spot in the light..poor latoya..now what? Hmmm

Well then you should stop watching her then. We don’t see you on stage putting on a full fledge physical performance and signing at the same time. Hell, most of the artist who do all the physical movements like she does do the same thing.
Janet’s occupation is singer/actress. This what she has been doing her whole life make a living, and at the end of the day; she still has to survive and make a living. She did grieve over Michael’s death, but she still has to move on with her life. Grieving over someones death will not help you survive; you have to stay strong and move forward:)

Janet Jackson i did veiw the performance on tv. but on the internet. and she was very good. and i have subcribed to haper’s bazaar. because her brother’s collect of stage ware ison the cover. next month of october 2009. Janet will be on the front cover. I am waiting to read her arcticle. she is truely the best. as I watched on the internet. her performance of “screamz”. wow! Janet rocks.

Donnie has to be joking. Latoya vs. Janet. There is no comparison. Since i have love for Michael, i will not make a comparision. Janet was not the first one at the hospital because she was filming a movie in ATL. And she went back to work because there was a budget for the movie. Those things have deadlines, and its not just about one person. The longer it takes to produce a movie, the more money it costs Donnie!!!!!
Janet is one of the most successful female artists in history, with six #1 records, ten#1 singles, over 20 top 5 hits, with three consecutive #1 movies under her belt. Latoya posed for playboy. (sorry, i had to throw that in).
Having lost a love one, i can understand Janet wanting to throw herself back into work. That’s exactly what i did. The judgment is ridiculous!!
Janet’s new track is SO HOTTTTTTTTTT!!!! Some advice: listen to it on full blast while driving, and just try to contain yourself. It’s futile…
I loved all the tributes! The entire Family has been greiving publicly and as fans we must respect them even when we don’t agree with their actions. I loved Janet’s tribute to his craft, dance, art and at the end when she looked up and blew a kiss to her brother it brought me to tears…….Why can’t we embrace it all rather make judgements on their actions….That’s not what Michael was about….He has a large family who wants to do their tributes in their own way…”Respect It”…and enjoy it….Janet did a wonderful job and honestly her performance looked therapeutic for her to perform again, with her brother and keep his music alive; The music that inspired everyone (including his family) alive….Lets focus on that…..The “Positive”…

This song is really a disappointment, I was expecting her to come out with a awesome Pop song that would blow me out the water, anyone can do this. I am a big fan of Janet…. sorry to say this but step it up janet!
If anyone has lost someone they love, they know it helps alot to have something to take your mind off of everything. Janet’s going back to work to me, shows that she is hurting and she is burying herself in her work to ease the pain of Michael’s unexpected death. She still speaks of him as he is here so it is hard for her, leave her alone.
