Kelly Clarkson isn’t the only pop/rocker with a burning disdain for rapper Kanye West‘s VMAs outburst. Singer Pink also got in on the action during her appearance on the Today Show the morning following the big awards show.
“I just think he’s an idiot. He’s just a waste. He’s just a toolbox,” she said of Kanye’s onstage protest of Taylor Swift‘s best female video win, a win he thought should have went to megastar Beyonce‘s much imitated video for her song Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It).
Pink stopped by the Today Show to support her latest album Funhouse. The star performed her single Please Don’t Leave Me.

Blah…Blah….. Kayne West shouldve stayed his ass off stage, it was Taylor’s time to shine. Im glad Eminem won over Kayne West anyway…..haha
Kayne West has a habit of doing this to small young guys and little girls. I would love to see him try this with Danzig or Ted Nuggent. He won’t because he’s a punk and a coward.

Pink was a manufactured artist who tried to identify with Black culture by forcing ties with LA Reid to boost her record sales. She will never be a true rock star, because she is not in the same category as Nine Inch Nails. She will never get the support of African-Americans (yes, we know phonies and users when we see them). She will never be a pop artist, because she is not manufactured like the Britney Spears, and the Taylor Swift’s. The only REAL woman with any REAL balls that night was Beyonce. She asked Taylor swift to finish her acceptance speech, unlike the three stooges, Pink, Katey Perry, and Kelly Clarkon. We won’t defend Taylor Swift in public, but will do so on Twitter. Such cowards!

Why do people find it necessary to categorize someone? You sound like your in high school. I think if you look past the genre, you can find a really great singer. Break out of the box you put yourself in once in a while. The air is much cleaner out here.

And what Beyonce did was very admirable. But KATY Perry, Pink, and Kelly ClarkSON did not win the award. I’m sure any of these fine singers would’ve done the same thing.
So… Your saying that because Pink doesn’t sound like Nine Inch Nails, it makes Pink not rock? I guess that would mean bands like the Foo Fighters and Kings of Leon aren’t rock because they don’t sound like NIN?

Actually, if you check your facts…Pink went right up afterwards to Kanye as he was seated and started to shake her head and at this first sign of trouble, the security “escorted” her away.
I agree that Beyonce is very classy and had a great song/video. I agree with the view on manufactured and VERY disposable music (Katey Perry and Britney). BUT, Pink’s music is neither.
She worked hard to get where she is and is a TRUE performer. Like Beyonce who dances her ass off and can sing through this rigorous stage performance, Pink sets a great and also rigorous stage performance and her voice doesn’t waver and isn’t spliced into lip synching.
Right, and Beyonce and bloody Kanye West aren’t manufactured rock stars??? Are you suggesting they are authentic just because they are black??? Are you tripping??? The point is what Kanye West did was arrogant and cruel. Sure, the whole MTV awards thing can be dismissed as a self-aggrandising joke, but deliberately emotionally hurting a young woman is never ever on, I don’t care about the colour of you skin . Pink is just amazing. I would’ve felt the exact same way – about the whole brass-knuckle threat, in particular. When i saw Kanye do that i felt nothing less than the urge to beat the crap out of him. Too bad he didn’t get what he deserved by the femme-fatale hands of pink.

PPl think what kanye west did was wrong saying he was this he was that. PPl going over board over what he did because they dont have anything else to do. he did it twice last year at the vmas and once at a vmas in Europe.
