Twilight: New Moon Soundtrack

Probably just as anticipated as the release of the actual film is the soundtrack for New Moon, the newest installment in the Twilight franchise. Eager fans waiting for official word on the artists and songs that will appear on the soundtrack got just that when Twilight creator Stephenie Meyer let the cat out of the bag on her official website.

“We are excited to finally announce ALL the songs that will be on the New Moon Soundtrack,” she excitedly wrote on the webpage. “All of the music is original, and exclusive to the soundtrack.”

Lead by the first single Meet Me On the Equinox by Death Cab For Cutie, the set will also feature new music from Thom Yorke (Hearing Damage), The Killers (A White Demon Love Song) and a New Moon exclusive remix to Muse‘s I Belong To You.

The Twilight: New Moon soundtrack will be released on October 20th on Atlantic Records.
