Preface: Rihanna is quite possibly the hottest chick who ever migrated to these 50 states we call the USA. Over her short, but prosperous four year career, she’s gone from adorable island girl, to world renown pop princess (and I welcome the debate about who’s really the princess because I have stats ready!). But not only that, after she shed her long, honey-colored locks for her famous short black tresses and went all edgy on us, she earned a place high on the fashion trendsetters list.
She can make almost any look scorching hot — new emphasis is placed on ALMOST after feasting my eyes on pictures from her latest outing.
The Bajan goddess is in NYC to work on her new album that is sure to boost said pop princess status even further and decided to switch her look up a bit. That included plum lipstick –which is almost always a no-no — and chunky blond highlights. If that wasn’t enough, she wore some impossibly long Stella McCartney thigh-high boots under a frilly steel colored skirt.
Not even the gorg creature that Rihanna is can make this look a winner. Oh, the pain…

I absolutely Love rihanna. I don’t love rihanna because she is pretty or she comes from an island. I love her because she brings a edge and uniquess to music. She might not be the next Leona Lewis top notch voice, but she brings a new vibe that we are not used to hearing. As far as her style. There are some things she can rock very well and some things she cannot, but the most important thing is that she has her own style. I love very bold lipstick, but I hate plum lipstick, however I think she rocks everything very well eventhough I wouldn’t dress like that! Im on team Rihanna all the way. Oh and by the way I think the only person that should be the King of Pop music is MJ, however I think for the rest of our artist they bring their own style to pop music, but if I had to pick it would be Britney and Rihanna for strictly POP music!
