Mr. Hudson is flying solo in the video for his new single, “White Lies,” from his forthcoming album, Straight No Chaser, in stores October 15. No seriously — he’s really solo. No one but him is needed for the moody clip which finds him representing those little fibs we all tell that we can easily justify in all white, then dawning all black to embody those darker lies.
The video was directed by Nabil Elderkin, who directed the bulk of the videos for Hudson’s mentor, Kanye West’s 808′s and Heartbreak.
