Fashion Notes: Prince’s Purple Passion Still Rings True At Paris Fashion Week

Admit it. You’re jealous.

Not many people can pull off purple from head to toe quite like Prince. But then again, they don’t call the legendary pop/soul/funk/any-other-genre-you-can-think-of star “The Purple One” for nothing.

Most run far away from the color that draws automatic comparisons with Barney the Dinosaur, that creepy, overweight T-Rex teaching kids about reading and writing, while imparting necessary life lessons.

Not Prince.

He and his lady friend welcomed the opportunity while attending a VIP afterparty for Fendi following their runway show at Paris Fashion Week.

His purple passion party was broken only by black cuffs and his extremely gaudy-yet-fitting neck wear. His shoes were even the exact same hue as his silky ensemble. That’s skillful matching!
