Bill Ray Cyrus Joins In On The “Come Back Miley” Twitter Outcry

By now you’ve probably heard the terrible news: Miley Cyrus deleted her twitter account! It’s news that is as big as President Obama being awarded the 2009 Nobel Peace Prize. OK, not really. But to a ton of teenaged girls, this is huge.
Late Tuesday night (October 6), Miley tweeted that her The Last Song co-star and rumored boyfriend Liam Hemsworth doesn’t have a twitter account and wanted her to delete hers “with good reason.”
Liam one, fans zero!
Heartbroken fans soon organized a “come back Miley” hashtag campaign to encourage the 16-year-old singer and actress to return the the microblogging community. But who knew Miley’s own dad, singer-actor Billy Ray Cyrus, would join in.
“Miley. You are a light in a world of darkness. You were born ‘Destiny Hope Cyrus’ for a reason,” Cyrus tweeted to his daughter. “You can’t leave everyone now. We r countin on u.”
He continued: “I understand ‘it is true one bad apple spoils the bunch’. But listen to the words of your songs ‘Stand… for what ya believe in’…Remember?”
He urged Miley to ignore the negativity towards her on the site, and use it to speak out against the recent uprising of teen violence. “Words can hurt worse than bullets. True. All the more reason to take this tool and tweet “I’m comin to Chicago and askin kids to stopkillinkids.”
As of press time, Miley is still twitterless.
