After releasing their debut album, Dreaming Out Loud, in 2007, OneRepublic found themselves with a monster hit on their hands in the form of the Timbaland assisted single, “Apologize.” 2009 will find the band, led by singer and songwriter to the stars Ryan Tedder, following up with their new album, Waking Up.
The set’s first single, “All The Right Moves,” doesn’t stray too far from the formula that’s brought OneRepublic success thus far. They slather on a great hook and make sure the song has a strong melody. Voila! Hit record!
In the video for the song, directed by Wayne Isham, the guys perform at a masquerade ball where the masked dancers surely have all the right moves.
Waking Up is in stores on November 17.
